This is the basis for self-regulation of electric heating materials. Together with you, we develop specific product solutions for the design of self-regulating heating solutions.In addition to the innovative energy-saving heat generation via polymer PTC heating elements, heat storage with polymer materials is just as important. In this way, we can make our contribution to the sustainable use of renewable energy from the combination of both technologies.This is where our PCM technology plays a major role. Polymer mixtures in the form of adapted phase change materials open up new design possibilities for thermal management. Their highly productive thermoplastic processing on packaging machines provides the basis for very effective production of flexible, flat thermal storage systems. The PCM compounds are adjustable over a wide range in terms of their melting and solidification point and have excellent cycle stability. The storage capacity can be up to 200 kJ/kg. Our PCM materials improve the energy management and heat balance of your products and applications in an excellent way. The products are available as granules, packaged granules, PCM storage mat and thermal storage systems.
